Notice of Candidate Deadline for Annual School Board Election

The annual school board election of Central Valley Public School District #3 will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Central Valley School.

Board members up for election for a 3-year term are the following: Curtis Hong-Area 4 (Portions of Ervin & Wold Townships); and Gregory Saure-Area 7 (Bentru Township and portions of Michigan & Americus Townships).

To file as a candidate, you must be a resident of the area up for election.  Individuals interested in running shall prepare and sign an Affidavit of Candidacy and a Statement of Interests.  These documents need to be filed with the Business Manager, Lenita Larson, by 4 pm on March 30, 2026.

Central Valley Public School is seeking a dedicated, hard-working team player to lead our K–12 music program. This position oversees all music classes and activities across the district and plays a key role in shaping students’ musical experiences.

🎼 Position Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• K–12 vocal and band classes and lessons

• Curriculum development

• Rehearsals and student assessments

• Administrative tasks related to the music program

• Concerts (music selection, setup, and scheduling)

• Coordination of local and state music events

• Other duties as assigned

🎓 Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid North Dakota K–12 Music Educator Credential

🚍 NOW HIRING: Full-Time Head of Transportation / Bus Driver! 🚍

Are you dependable, hands-on, and ready to make a difference every day? Our district is looking for a full-time Head of Transportation to join our team!

What You’ll Do:
🚌 Drive bus routes (about 4 hours per day)
🔧 Perform maintenance duties — oil changes, tire and filter replacements, washing buses, tracking miles, and checking antifreeze
❄️ Handle snow removal and keep our buses running safely in all seasons
⛽ Keep buses fueled, clean, and road-ready for daily routes and sports trips
🧰 Assist with custodial and general maintenance tasks as needed

Schedule & Pay:
📅 Full-time, year-round position (40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year)
🕔 Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend snow removal

Qualifications:
✅ Valid North Dakota driver’s license
✅ CDL with Passenger Bus and School Bus Endorsements or the ability to obtain them
