Parents’ Right To Know

Through federal education law, parents have the right to request information on the professional qualifications of the teachers and paraprofessionals at our school. If you are interested in learning this information, please contact the school administration office at (701)847-2220. Upon this request, you will receive a detailed explanation of the licensing, education and experience of each of our teachers. You will also receive information regarding the names and qualifications of the paraprofessionals at our school. 

Asbestos: The reduction of asbestos contamination in our school continues. Some areas toward this end are:

1. Awareness training for new employees

2. Semi-annual re-inspection

3. The Asbestos Management Plan is available in the Superintendent’s office.

4. Most identified discrepancies are corrected or will be before school starts this fall.

Nondiscrimination Policy

The Central Valley School District supports the provisions of Title IX of the Civil Amendments of 1972, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 which commit all schools to the elimination of discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender and handicap to those programs and activities offered to its students. Release of Information: Please notify the school if you do not wish to have your child’s name, address, or phone number given out for the following purposes: invitations, university and military recruiters, honor roll lists, student of the month, etc.

School Publications – At Central Valley, we enjoy celebrating our students' learning, activities, and accomplishments. Throughout the year we will post articles, pictures, or videos of these celebrations in papers, our website, our Facebook page, and other media. If you wish for your son or daughter to not be published, please contact the office to opt-out.
